ELECTRIC TROLLEY 

This trolley features a fully interlocked system, ensuring all physical and electrical connection have been made before the vehicle can proceed. These systems interlock the deck, chassis, and drivetrain components. The trolley incorporates a simple LED display panel, which allows the user to easily identify any broken interlocks.

The drivetrain includes traction control and fail-safe spring-applied brakes. This eliminates wheel slip during acceleration and ensures the vehicle will stop safely in the event of a power failure. Power is supplied to the unit through (up to) four lithium-ion batteries, which provide a range of up
to 100km. Battery “fuel” gauges are also mounted to the chassis, indicating the battery charge levels and whether they are discharging. The wheel motors also provide regenerative braking, charging the batteries when decelerating, helping to maximize range.
